COLUMBUS (AP) — An Ohio State University football player has pleaded not guilty to charges that he was driving drunk near Ohio Stadium.
Defensive tackle Doug Worthington didn’t appear in person at a hearing Thursday morning in Franklin County Municipal Court; the plea was entered by his attorney, who declined to comment afterward.

The Columbus Dispatch reported that Big Ten officials have conceded the apparent fumble by Illinois at the end of an 80-yard TD run early in the Nov. 10 game should have been reviewed. There was no review and Ohio State didn’t challenge the play; instead it was a touchdown, and Illinois won the game 28-21.
