The Ohio State University will finally turn the page and begin a much anticipated new era in about an hour, and Buckeye fans are chomping at the bit to see how the Bucks will look, sound, and feel after the riveting scandal plagued off season. I think everyone (except media and sec folks) are tired of hearing about how some players sold their own memorabilia and received free tattoos. So this will be the last I mention that crap in this article!
Did anyone remember the billboard university TCU? Wow, how about that game last night in which Baylor put a beat down on the TCU defense scoring 50 points. TCU battled back, only to be denied. What a humbling experience for a university who posted their billboards around Ohio territory basically mocking (E.Gordon Gee), who most Ohio State fans are beginning to frown upon as a prez, but anyways, what a way to start out the college football season!
Now that I took my little cheap shot, I have some questions about the new Ohio State football team. Will Luke Fickell be more aggressive and not think the punt is the most important play in football? Will he let it loose and get the guys fired up in the locker room? How will Mike Vrabel affect the defense? How much time will be split between Joe Bauserman and Braxton Miller? More importantly, who is the next star on the new team? Is it the RB Rod Smith? LB Etienne Sabino? As you can see, I could go all day doing this, but these are just “some” of the important questions I have about this team.
I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m ready to begin some pre-game tailgating, in the comfort of my own home. Thinking about some BW3 wings, Doritos, and some ice cold beer. Rock On, its football season!
