Ohio State Spring Game: Braxton Miller Finds Go-to WR in Michael Thomas

Braxton Miller found a new best friend.

The Ohio State quarterback failed to muster up much success through the air last season. But if the freshman phenom Michael Thomas’ spring game performance is any indication of how his 2012 campaign will trend, Miller’s numbers will ascend dramatically.
After the exhibition, the dual-threat quarterback told reporters that (via CBS Sports) “It was fun getting the ball in the playmakers’ hands.”
And by playmakers, he means playmaker: Thomas. The 6’3” 4-star recruit out of Woodland Hills, Calif. hauled in 12 balls for 131 yards on the day.
Chris Carter, David Boston, Terry Glenn, Joey Galloway, Ted Ginn, Santonio Holmes…Michael Thomas? The true freshman wide receiver possesses the potential to add his name to the Buckeyes’ bountiful list of downfield weapons. Putting his name into the same sentence as such immense talent is premature, but OSU fans who witnessed Thomas’ display of dominance…
