Ohio State Football Recruiting: Recapping a Wild Week in Buckeye Recruiting

Ohio State thought that they had a chance to impress some recruits in their spring game weekend last weekend when the curtain over the Urban Meyer offense was—at least partially—revealed to the college football world.
The aftermath, in addition to what happened just days before the spring game, was another recruiting surge that caught the recruiting world by storm.
The great week in recruiting started off the Monday before the spring game with a little bit of a surprise, as DT Tracy Sprinkle made his verbal to the Buckeyes.
Sprinkle is a player who had started to garner attention from other big schools and was on the verge of blowing up before he made his commitment to Ohio State.
The next day, Meyer and the Buckeyes found their QB for the future by landing one of the top dual-threat QBs in the country in Wichita Falls (Tex.) product J.T. Barrett.
