Havelock (NC) running back Derrell Scott is a speedster in the class of 2014. For his high school team last year he played running back, defensive back, and kick returner in leading his team to a state championship. Scott said that they reached all their team goals, and now Scott, the individual is seeing the benefits of his play. “Ohio State just offered today”, said the North Carolina running back. “I also have offers from North Carolina, East Carolina, South Carolina, NC State, Virginia Tech and Penn State. I enjoyed receiving the Ohio State offer. I do not know a whole lot about them, but I know they got tradition.” Coach Withers delivered the offer to Derrell Scott through his coach.
