Ohio State Football Recruiting: Can the Buckeyes Catch Michigan on the Trail?

The Ohio State Buckeyes have a long-standing rivalry with the Michigan Wolverines. This contest takes place every November on the field, but that is not the only place the two battle it out.
Brady Hoke has been burning down the recruiting trail, and his year’s head start on setting the tone is showing itself with the Wolverines’ 21 commitments for 2013.
Urban Meyer, the man who caused quite a stir in the Big Ten with his recruiting heroics a year ago, has just 11 commitments and is currently looking up to the Buckeyes’ hated rival.
On the bright side, there is plenty of time for Urban Meyer and his staff to get things going and close the gap between themselves and Michigan. The quality is there for the Buckeyes and the ground will be gained in adding more quality players to the mix to buoy the overall talent level coming into the program.
