Ohio State Football: Braxton Miller Will Receive Heisman Presentation Invite

Braxton Miller, the sensational sophomore quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes, has guided coach Urban Meyer’s team to a 4-0 start. When the season is over, he’ll have a seat in New York City at the Heisman Trophypresentation.

Miller has been the best QB in the Big Ten by a long shot over these first four games. That doesn’t mean anything across the country, but it certainly means something when determining who doesn’t have a shot at the trophy.

Right now, Miller’s stats aren’t huge, but they certainly aren’t paltry, either. He’s 60-for-98 for 743 yards in the air, hurling seven touchdowns to two interceptions. On the ground, he’s been solid as well, rushing for 441 yards and seven touchdowns.

Projecting that out to the rest of the season, Miller has a shot to throw for more than 2,500 yards in the air and run for 1,500 on the ground should he have a breakout game in his Big Ten schedule.
