Ohio State must win without Braxton Miller

Ohio State’s worst nightmare this season appears to have come true.

Quarterback Braxton Miller, the Buckeyes’ MVP and arguably the MVP of the entire Big Ten in the first half, was injured after a 37-yard run late in the third quarter against Purdue. Miller was down on the turf for a long time and had to be helped to the sidelines before being carted off to the locker room. The extent and nature of the injury aren’t known, but team doctors appeared to be looking at the neck and head area of the sophomore quarterback.
