Ohio State QB Miller cleared to practice

Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller is cleared to practice this week after leaving Saturday’s game against Purdue and taken to an on-campus hospital. ESPN.com reported that Miller passed all medical examinations for a concussion. Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer said Miller has a sore neck. He was driven hard to the ground after a long running play. He was slow to get off the field and was carted to the locker room. Ohio State beat Purdue 29-22 in overtime after Kenny Guiton replaced him. “Braxton Miller, I went over to see him at the hospital, and all the test results came out negative, which is positive,” Meyer said. “We expect him to practice (Tuesday).” Miller is considered a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate.
