Ohio State’s scheduling blitz continued Friday with the announcement of a home game with San Diego State that completes the 2013 schedule.
The Buckeyes had to scramble after Vanderbilt cancelled the season opener, scheduled for Aug. 31 in Columbus. Ohio State instead will open the season at home against Buffalo before hosting San Diego State on Sept. 7.
San Diego State and Ohio State have met three times, all Buckeyes victories at Ohio Stadium. The teams played in 2001, 2003 and 2005.
