When the Ohio State Buckeyes secured the victory against the Michigan Wolverines, Braxton Miller made an emphatic statement that he is better than Denard Robinson.
For the two years that the dynamic quarterbacks’ careers have overlapped, there’s been an argument over who is superior. Although Miller and Robinson split their two games against each other, it’s clear that Miller is the better player.
While Miller still has two years to complete his legacy as a Buckeye, Robinson played his final game in the rivalry. Robinson managed to pick up one win against Ohio State, but it’s the last one that will be remembered.
When looking at why Miller is better than Robinson, the first thing that stands out are the numbers.
Yes, Robinson was the big playmaker on the ground for the Wolverines in the 26-21 loss, but Miller stepped up as a passer in a way that Robinson never has. The usually inconsistent passer picked apart the Wolverines, finishing 14-of-18 passing for 189 yards without throwing an interception.
