Ohio State Football Recruiting: Freshmen with Best Shots at Making Early Impacts

Urban Meyer’s latest recruiting class is shaping up nicely, but it is void of impact freshman. This class is rated No. 2 overall by 24/7 Sports, but it only includes one 5-star recruit at this point.
This group should make its biggest impact in the 2014 season.
Luckily for Ohio State, the returning roster for the 2013 season is more than capable of contending for a national championship.
The freshman with the best shot at making an early impact are as follows:
 
 
Joey Bosa, DE

Every Buckeyes starting defensive lineman is leaving Columbus, so there will be opportunities for guys to win jobs on the D-Line. That said, Bosa will have to tear it up from Day 1 because the reserves from the 2012 season are primed to take over those starting spots.
Noah Spence, Michael Bennett and J.T. Moore figure to nearly inherit the positions, but Bosa’s motor and ability could create an opportunity for him to hit the field.
