Ohio State Football Recruiting: 2014 Prospect Damon Webb Gives Commitment

Damon Webb has committed to Ohio State, according to ElevenWarriors.

Webb is a Class of 2014 cornerback prospect who is rated a 4-star by Scout.com, but could also be used to play wide receiver as well. The six-footer from Detroit also held a Michigan offer as this has to come as stunning news to Brady Hoke and his staff. This recruitment definitely goes against the norm, with Cass Tech High School usually being a pipeline for the Wolverines. 
The Buckeyes had a huge recruiting weekend, also gaining a commitment from Christopher Worley of Glenville High School. Damon Webb joins Marcelys Jones to become the first two Class of 2014 prospects to give their commitments to Urban Meyer, who is working toward bringing in a monster class next year.   
Still, there is an insane amount of time left for Webb to be recruited…
