Scouts: Wilson could fill the Harvin role

The Buckeyes gained an explosive offensive piece Monday night with the addition of Under Armour All-American athlete Dontre Wilson (DeSoto, Texas/DeSoto). We can’t imagine the pitch from Ohio State to Wilson didn’t include a very descriptive idea of his role within the offense as compared to Percy Harvin at Florida, where Harvin was employed as a utility weapon both in the backfield and on the perimeter. This is what makes Wilson so valuable to a spread offensive set and why Oregon had coveted him all along.
