Dylan Thompson (Lombard, Ill./Montini Catholic), a 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive tackle, didn’t mince words about his latest offer. He talked at length about Ohio State and what it meant to pick up the honor from the Buckeyes. He knows because his high school has a famous alumnus in former nose tackle Garrett Goebel, who played for Ohio State. So when Urban Meyer came calling with an offer, it went a long way with the junior. “It’s a huge deal to me,” Thompson said.
