According to a hilarious video making the Internet rounds, stretching exercises were just too strenuous for one Ohio State kicker.
Lost Letterman spotted this video originally posted by Eleven Warriors, and it features cornerbacks coach and special teams coordinator Kerry Coombs glossing one of his kickers with a “Sunshine.”
It’s all well warranted, because apparently one player was parched during some stretching. If that weren’t ridiculous enough of a statement, this all goes down at the first practice of spring.
Kickers continue to be the bane of most football fans. Of course, I couldn’t ever kick a ball more than 10 yards, but that hardly means I find their necessity on the football field any less ridiculous.
We applaud Coombs for both blasting a kicker for his outrageous need to quench his thirst and for also giving us one of the best lines of the year.
