Ohio State Football: Meyer Secures Commitment from 3-Star DL Dylan Thompson

Urban Meyer didn’t intend to interrupt your March Madness viewing, but sometimes he just can’t help himself.
Dylan Thompson, a 3-star defensive end (according to 247Sports.com) out of Lombard, Illinois, committed to Meyer and the Buckeyes early Saturday afternoon:

Thompson held offers from Arkansas, Clemson, Iowa, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee and many others, but the Buckeyes beat most of those schools to the punch by offering first.
That paid off for Meyer, as Thompson became the fifth commitment of Ohio State’s 2014 class, joining Damon Webb, Marcelys Jones, Parris Campbell and Kyle Trout. 
Thompson is a 6’5″, 255-pound strong-side defensive end who has the strength to come off the edge and the speed to go side to side pursuing ball carriers. Those are the traits Meyer looks for in his defensive…
