Ohio State always talks about winning the day. On Monday, the Buckeyes certainly did that with the commitment of outside linebacker Kyle Berger (Cleveland/St. Ignatius). Berger played on a team with three Division I signees on its roster and scads of other juniors receiving big school interest. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Berger was the glue on a team that reached the Ohio Division I quarterfinals after winning it all in 2011. The outside linebacker really was the standout for the Wildcats, who have won more titles than any other team in Ohio, as his 90 tackles — 39 for loss — and 8½ sacks attest.
