Ohio State Football: Power Ranking Most Exciting Players to Watch in 2013

The Ohio State Buckeyes won’t let a 12-0 2012 season create a complacent atmosphere entering this season. And if veteran leadership isn’t enough to keep the Scarlet and Gray on track, Urban Meyer certainly won’t allow his team to settle for anything less than a championship this year.

The Buckeyes lost some key contributors to the NFL this offseason, including defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins, defensive end John Simon, tight end Jake Stoneburner and linebacker Etienne Sabino, but Meyer brought in one of the nation’s top recruiting classes to replenish the team’s talent and ensure a bright future lies ahead for his Buckeyes.
Many of those incoming freshmen won’t see the field in 2013, but Ohio State has plenty of talent in place to make a run at the Big Ten title and a national championship. As long as the Buckeyes’ core contributors repeat their 2012 performance, nothing will stop them from a BCS championship berth this season….
