Ohio State Football: Updating the Buckeyes’ Top Recruiting Targets for 2014

National signing day is more than seven months away, and with 14 prospects already in the fold, Ohio State’s 2014 recruiting class is filling up quickly. Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes have already secured commitments from some of their primary targets. Four-star prospects Jamarco Jones (offensive tackle), Jalyn Holmes (defensive end) and Damon Webb (cornerback) highlight a group that currently ranks No. 3 in the country behind Texas and Alabama. Ohio State is far from done, however, and the coaching staff is targeting a number of elite prospects to close out this year’s class. Because of the scholarship restrictions brought on by Ohio State’s recent NCAA violations, Meyer and the Buckeyes have to be selective with their remaining openings.
