Braxton Miller No. 2 on ESPN Heisman Watch

ESPN released their 2013 Heisman Watch today and Braxton Miller finished second just behind South Carolina’s defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.  Miller was the only player from the B1G to receive a vote.

Regarding Miller, ESPN had this to say:

If Miller improves as much as he did between his freshman and sophomore years, he might be really, really good this coming season. Last season, Miller completed 58.3 percent of his passes for 2,039 yards with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions, while throwing 97 more passes than he did as a freshman. Miller also ran for 1,271 yards with 13 scores in coach Urban Meyer’s spread offense. If Ohio State does what it did last season — finish undefeated during the regular season — it will play for a BCS national championship, and Miller will be a Heisman Trophy finalist.
