Two members of the Ohio State football program have likely seen their playing careers ended due to injury, including one with a rather famous Scarlet & Gray father.
The Buckeyes announced that fifth-year senior Jamie Wood fourth-year junior Adam Griffin (pictured) have been sidelined due to ongoing and lingering shoulder issues.
This summer camp was Wood’s latest attempt to return from multiple shoulder surgeries. When healthy, the safety played in 30 games, including four games last season before re-injuring his shoulder. He played in all 13 games in both 2010 and 2011.
With a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications in hand, Wood will now focus on grad school at OSU.
