Former Buckeyes coach Jim Tressel still isn’t allowed on a college sideline, but the NCAA doesn’t forbid him from stepping into the classroom.

Expanding on his role as Vice President for Student Success at the University of Akron, he’ll be teaching a course entitled “General Principles of Coaching.” Joining him in the classroom will be former Zips head coach Jim Dennison, who gave Tressel his first college gig back in 1974. Tressel won four national championships at Youngstown State before taking over in Columbus in 2001.
