Sophomore defensive back Najee Murray, a former 3-star prospect who was part of Urban Meyer’s first recruiting class in Columbus, has been granted his release from the Ohio State football program.
Kyle Rowland of ElevenWarriors.com broke the news Thursday night.

Murray was suspended indefinitely by Meyer in early August for a “training camp issue,” according to the Lantern, Ohio State’s school newspaper.
Eleven Warriors believes that Murray is considering a number of Mid-American Conference and Pac-12 schools, but because of NCAA rules, he will not be eligible to play in 2013.
