Rivals will reunite in Columbus, Ohio this Saturday when the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes host the Penn State Nittany Lions for a prime-time Big Ten matchup.
The Buckeyes (7-0) are coming off a 34-24 victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes. Braxton Miller was brilliant, completing 81 percent of his passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns while adding 102 yards on the ground.
The Nittany Lions (4-2) had last week off, which gave them time to come down from the high of beating Michigan in a quadruple-overtime thriller in Beaver Stadium.
Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes will look to extend the nation’s longest winning streak to 20 with a win over the Nittany Lions. A victory will also keep Ohio State in the thick of the national title race.
Bill O’Brien is hoping to continue the Nittany Lions’ surge despite the NCAA sanctions that have crippled their scholarship numbers and banned them from postseason play.
