OSU Band Celebrates Cinema, Trolls Michigan with Amazing Hollywood Tribute

They made a T-Rex walk, Harry Potter fly and sunk Michigan’s pirate ship.
In other words, it was just another Saturday for the Ohio State University Marching Band, one of the most ridiculously talented assemblages of musicians on this green Earth.
A week after its moon-walking Michael Jackson tribute, Ohio State’s marching band managed to kick it up another notch, unveiling its “Hollywood” themed routine that depicted a dinosaur eating a Michigan supporter, Superman flying and a Pirates of the Caribbean battle.
Video of the routine was spotted by Ryan Grenoble of The Huffington Post, and it begins with a soaring tribute to Superman, complete with cape, phone booth and a falling building to save.

After that, the band took the crowd to Middle Earth, forming the Eye of Sauron and lifting the spirits of every Lord of the Rings nerd in the crowd.

Next up was a Harry Potter formation, which quickly shifted into the form of Harry on a broomstick, chasing the golden snitch.

The crowning moments were yet to come, however, as the band switched into Jurassic Park mode and went into a formation resembling a Tyrannosaurus rex (5:50 mark).
Naturally, the dinosaur was hungry and decided to feast upon an unsuspecting Michigan supporter on the field.
