How did your favorite former Buckeyes perform this week in NFL action? Week 4 got off to a quiet start for former Buckeyes. The New York Giants went to Washington on Thursday Night Football and pulled off a dominant win, with former Buckeye Johnathan Hankins contributing one assist to the defensive effort. It was a quieter week than usual for Big Hank, but it didn’t slow down the Giants, who won, 45-14. The Carolina Panthers traveled to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. Rookie Philly Brown, coming off of a difficult performance in week three, added 35 receiving yards and 23 return yards to Carolina’s efforts. The Panthers lost to Baltimore, 38-10. Former Buckeye A.J. Hawk stood out in Green Bay’s decisive win over the Bears in Soldier Field. Hawk had 10 solo tackles and three assists in the 38-17 victory. Rookie center Corey Linsley did have an unfortunately-timed holding penalty that negated a touchdown for the Packers, but a rookie’s going to have some growing pains, and it didn’t matter in the long run. Former Buckeye and current Chicago Bear Santonio Holmes did not have any receptions in this game.
