Ohio State Buckeyes Record: 10-1 overall, 7-0 conference Previous ranking: 1 Take a bow, Jalin Marshall. A week after two fumbles kept the game close, Marshall bounced back against Indiana in a big way, with four touchdowns. The Hoosiers caused a bit of a scare in the first three quarters — OSU led just 21-20 — but Ohio State proved its dominance in the fourth. The only question now is how the College Football Playoff committee will weigh the victory. |
Michigan State Spartans Record: 9-2 overall, 6-1 conference Previous ranking: 2 Michigan State once again has sole possession of second place, after it absolutely dominated Rutgers to the tune of 45-3. The Spartans racked up 520 yards and sprinted out to a 35-0 halftime lead, as the Scarlet Knights never really stood a chance here. Sure, Michigan State didn’t look good against Ohio State. But it’s still clearly among the best in the B1G. |
Wisconsin Badgers Record: 9-2 overall, 6-1 conference Previous ranking: T-2 Melvin Gordon rushed for 200 yards Saturday to tie the Big Ten single-season rushing record with 2,109 yards. What else does this guy have to do to prove he’s Heisman worthy? Wisconsin has lost only two games this season — by a combined 10 points — and is one win from facing Ohio State in the Big Ten title game. |
