Ohio State (7-1) got a game-high 19 points from freshman D’Angelo Russell and 17 points from sophomore Marc Loving in the win over Colgate. Freshman Kam Williams (11 points) was the only other Buckeye in double-figures. The strong start was fueled by a decisive early rebounding advantage for the Buckeyes. Colgate did not register a remound until there was 14:27 remaining in the first half. The Raiders tried to stay in the game by shooting from deep. They finished 11-for-30 from 3-point territory and got a team-high 18 points from senior Ethan Jacobs. Ohio State also had a sizable advantage in bench points on Saturday.
