(Las Vegas Sun/AP File Photo) As the college football playoff committee endured its final deliberations Sunday morning in the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex, another group of experts who stake their livelihoods on comparing the merits of football teams had already reached a conclusion in Las Vegas. Ohio State didn’t belong. Jay Kornegay, the vice president of the Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook, the leading sports book in Las Vegas, had a bad feeling the Buckeyes would be permitted into the playoff. In Vegas, the Big 12 held sway over the Big Ten all season, and TCU and Baylor are both considered superior. “First of all, I’m very disappointed in what happened,” Kornegay said. “I don’t see how you could drop a team three spots after what happened yesterday.
