COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State quarterback J.T. Both Bosa and Bennett have already earned trees in Buckeye Grove by virtue of being named first-team All-Americans by USA Today and CBS Sports, respectively. Being named a first-teamer on any reputable, mainstream All-America list gets a player a tree. That won’t be Barrett this year. With few All-America teams going to a third team, it doesn’t seem likely Barrett, the Big Ten’s Freshman of the Year, cracks any first-team list. But it could be in his future.
