‘We still love Ohio’ – Ohio State basketball still in V.J. King sweepstakes: Buckeyes recruiting

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The spotlight was going to follow V.J. King wherever he went. The fact that he landed in another basketball hotbed didn’t matter. Not much has changed since King transferred from St. Vincent-St. Mary to Paul VI in Fairfax, Virginia before this season. King is still the center of attention when he’s on the floor. He’s still battling with and against some of the top talent in the country. His team is still a contender for a state championship. His recruitment hasn’t slowed down at all. Here’s another thing that hasn’t changed: Ohio State still wants him in its 2016 recruiting class. And another: King still considers Ohio State the home state school. “I can say this, the relationship (with Ohio State) hasn’t changed one bit since our departure from Ohio,” Vincent King, V.J.’s father, told cleveland.com via phone from Virginia.
