Ohio State lands two commitments

COLUMBUS — Ohio State football fans will have to wait a while to watch the program’s latest pair of blue-chip commitments.

The Buckeyes today landed pledges from two of the state’s top prospects — Cincinnati Moeller tight end Jake Hausmann and Miamisburg offensive lineman Josh Myers. Hausmann, rated as the top tight end prospect in the nation by Rivals.com, is a high school junior while the 6-foot-6, 290-pound Myers, who chose Ohio State over offers from Alabama and Michigan among other schools, is a sophomore.
