No. 20 Ohio State announced Wednesday afternoon that sophomore Marc Loving did not make the trip to West Lafayette, Indiana, for Wednesday night’s 60-58 loss at Purdue and is barred from competition indefinitely.
“Sophomore forward Marc Loving did not travel with the Ohio State men’s basketball team to Purdue,” the school’s statement read. “He has temporarily lost his privilege to wear the Scarlet and Gray.”
The program’s announcement arrived just an hour before tipoff.
