Sam Thompson scored 15 points and Shannon Scott scored 13 points for the Buckeyes. Tarin Smith scored 13 points for Nebraska (13-15, 5-11). Russell watch: Ohio State freshman D’Angelo Russell finished with 11 points, six assists and three rebounds. Russell sat the final 12:44 of the game, leaving the bench temporarily while dealing with leg cramps, according to a team spokesman.
