Mich. 4-star recruit signs with OSU

Print Story Published: Thursday, 5/7/2015 BLADE STAFF COLUMBUS — The Ohio State football team’s continued raids of enemy territory yielded more spoils today with the commitment of four-star Michigan offensive lineman Michael Jordan. Jordan grew up in Canton, Mich., outside of Ann Arbor and was widely thought to be bound for Michigan before making the surprise announcement. One of the top prospects in Michigan, the famously named, 6-foot-6, 295-pound tackle is the latest in a line of marquee southbound border crossers — the Buckeyes’ rivalry-inflaming answer to the Wolverines’ historic success in recruiting Ohio. His pledge follows Ohio State’s signings of cornerback Damon Webb and running back Mike Weber, both of whom starred at Detroit’s Cass Tech and were ranked the No. 2 overall recruit in Michigan by Rivals.com in the last two classes.
