COLUMBUS — The 2015 season-opener for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Sept. 7 against Virginia Tech at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Va., will kick off at 8 p.m. and it will be televised nationally on ESPN, the Big Ten Conference confirmed Friday.
The game will be the final game of college football’s opening weekend of games to start the 2015 season.
The game will mark the first visit to Blacksburg and Lane Stadium, which has a capacity of 65,632, by the Buckeyes. The two teams met for the first time on the gridiron last season in Columbus.
