Ohio State selling gear, memorabilia from championship run

Updated MAY 18, 2015 11:03a ET Ever wanted to own a piece of an Ohio State national championship season? Now is your chance. The athletics department is holding an online sale now through the end of May that includes game-worn Buckeye football jerseys — home and away — from the 2014 season. And that’s not all: Ohio State is also offering the alternate “chrome” helmets they have worn a few times over the past seasons, but those will set you back a bit as the bidding is set to start at $1,500. The auction also includes some older jerseys that were not worn in games, and using a service called Instabuy to sell doormats made from turf, white pants the Buckeyes wore as alternates and memorabilia signed by Urban Meyer, Archie Griffin and Thad Matta.
