Ohio State’s Cardale Jones is not very good at softball

Updated MAY 29, 2015 9:30p ET On Thursday, the Ohio State football team traded in their helmet and shoulder pads for some bats and played some softball. As part of their Champions Dinner, the Buckeyes took to the diamond to see how their football skills translated to slow-pitch. For some, the transition went smoothly. A couple of Buckeyes made stellar plays in the field, and defensive end Joey Bosa went yard. It just so happened to be a barefoot homer as well. However, one Buckeye was not so impressive. Former third-string quarterback and hero during Ohio State’s championship run, Cardale Jones, showed us the definition of a whiff as he took his turn at the plate. Easy there, slugger. Might want to stick to the gridiron.
