BSR Season Preview: Ranking the Class of 2013

ShareTweetCan you imagine where the Buckeyes would of ended up last season without the likes of Ezekiel Elliott, J.T. Barrett, Darron Lee, Joey Bosa, and the many other contributors from the Class of 2013? When Urban Meyer took the job at Ohio State, it was clear that despite winning games, the former Florida Gator head coach had to inject more playmaking ability into the program to help them grow. We saw that growth blossom throughout the 2014 season last year. Barrett led the Ohio State offense throughout the regular season. Ezekiel Elliott found his groove in the post season and was a main cog throughout the whole year. Joey Bosa and Darron Lee shined on defense, and are now projected to be first round picks in the 2016 NFL Draft. Many have labeled Bosa as the top ranked prospect in the country. On this edition of Buckeye Sports Radio Season Preview, Bleacher Report Lead Ohio State Football Writer David Regimbal and I discuss where the Class of 2013 ranks amongst the best under Urban Meyer. The future is now at Ohio State and a lot of that has to do with this recruiting class. And I’ve got a strong feeling that this isn’t the last we’ve heard from this class. There is still a lot to prove, and if any class has made it clear that they have the drive to succeed past expectations, it just might be this group. A class that has a very good chance of being labeled two time national champions. Looking for Buckeye News, Views, and Commentary all the time?
