Poll reveals which Buckeye quarterback Ohioans want to see start

Updated JUN 11, 2015 10:40p ET The question of who will be Ohio State’s starting quarterback this fall keeps getting asked, and we’re still months away from an answer.  At least now we know which candidate Ohio voters would choose if it were up to them.  Public Policy Polling released the results of a survey of 859 registered voters conducted June 4-7.  It found 33 percent of Ohio State fans would most like to see Cardale Jones win the starting job this season while 24 percent chose Braxton Miller and 14 percent opted for J.T. Barrett. More responded they were “not sure” (27 percent) than chose Miller or Barrett, and four percent chose the option “someone else.”  Of course only one Ohioan is going to actually make that call, and that is Urban Meyer, who received an approval rating of 85 percent in the same poll.  Apparently two percent of fans are tough to please, however, as they said they disapprove of the job Meyer is doing as head coach of the Buckeyes. Another 13 percent said they were not sure.  Maybe a second national title in four years will win them over?
