Plenty of opinions have been thrown around about the best college football stadiums and the top places to visit – you might recall us conducting a similar B1G poll back in March – and NFL.com recently tried its hand at ranking the top spots.
As part of its “15 for ’15” series, NFL.com’s Mike Huguenin ranked the top 15 best game-day atmospheres earlier this week. Here’s how the Big Ten fared nationally:

5. Nebraska
3. Ohio State
Alabama and LSU were the only teams ranked ahead of the Buckeyes.
It’s difficult to argue against the four Big Ten teams that made the cut. (Those were actually our top four seeds for the “Best Big Ten game day setting tournament.”) But we differed with NFL.com greatly on where each team deserved to be ranked.
We had Ohio State as the top B1G atmosphere – followed by Penn State, Wisconsin and Nebraska. From two through four, that’s the opposite of NFL.com.
