Braxton Miller’s decision to stay at Ohio State and likely sit behind J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones was a head-scratcher for some, but those in the Buckeyes locker room had no doubt the two-time Big 10 Offensive Player of the Year would stay in Columbus.
“I wasn’t surprised,” Ohio State coach Urban Meyer told Cleveland.com. “I knew this since last January. I don’t know, just because he’s a quiet guy I guess, I don’t know, but the rumors and all that went on and on and on, and I kept hearing questions and I was like, ‘Where is this coming from?'”
Miller, considered the most athletic of the three QBs, will likely change positions to see more time on the field and boost his potential NFL draft stock.
