Ohio State QB Braxton Miller reportedly moving to wide receiver

Virginia Tech’s season opener against Ohio State is just 45 days away. Now, the matchup looks even more interesting than it already did. Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller, who missed last year’s game and the entire season because of shoulder surgery, says he is moving to wide receiver this season. Miller’s dad says that the move is not a done deal just yet and is only a backup plan, but it would make sense. It is believed that Miller would have a much better shot at playing in the NFL as a receiver. And it would clear up the Buckeyes’ quarterback situation just a bit, leaving JT Barrett and Cardale Jones to compete for the job.Regardless of who’s under center on Labor Day, the matchup with the Hokies is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated games in Tech history. “You don’t have that opportunity that often. So I know for our fans, they’ve looked forward to it, and we have too,” Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer said.
