State fairs will fry anything — random meats, candy bars, oreos, sticks of butter, etc. — so having butter statues is really just the next logical step for a state fair. The craftsmanship on these butter sculptures is remarkable. I, personally, have never tried to shape a giant block of butter into a human form, but I have to assume that it is not easy. …
