Big Ten football predictions for 2015 season

Teddy Greenstein Champion: Ohio State. As if having the most talent were not enough, the Buckeyes’ Big Ten road games are against Indiana, Rutgers, Illinois and Michigan. Not exactly a Murderer’s Row. Runner-up: Wisconsin. While West Division foe Nebraska might take time to adjust to Mike Riley’s pro-style offense, look for big things from Badgers RB Corey Clement. Dark horse: Minnesota. The sound, solid Gophers have a terrific secondary and might dabble with a no-huddle offense for QB Mitch Leidner. Tribune Silver Football: Ezekiel Elliott, Ohio State RB. The only concerns: Whoever emerges as the Buckeyes QB steals the show, or Elliott is haunted by the NCAA ban on crop-top uniforms. Freshman of the year: Jabrill Peppers, Michigan S. Knee and ankle injuries wrecked the redshirt freshman’s first season, but he could break out this fall as a three-way player…
