Michigan and Ohio State will enter the 2015 season in very different places. Ohio State enters as the defending National Champions hoping to establish a dynasty. Meanwhile Michigan is trying to turn their program around and would be thankful just to finish with a winning record. Despite these differences both programs will have major storylines throughout the season that will be the focus of national attention. Ohio State’s Quarterback Situation When a program has two quarterbacks competing for the starting job, it usually means they don’t have a good quarterback. When a program has three quarterbacks competing for the same position, it usually means the coaching staff doesn’t have a clue. That’s not the case for Ohio State this season. Urban Meyer has found himself in a unique position that a football coach can only dream of. He has not one, not two, but three proven quarterbacks. While this gives Ohio State a safety net regarding injury, it also has the potential to be too much of a good thing. A quarterback controversy draws excessive attention to a team, and has the potential to cause divisions within the locker room.
