Ohio State fans, imagine dating someone and finding out they are a Michigan fan. What would you do? The intense rivalry between the two schools’ football teams was not enough to divide Stephanie Betts and Mike Stout. The duo got married in June, and took some of their wedding photos in Michigan Stadium, according to ESPN. Betts, now named Stephanie Stout, is a Michigan fan despite growing up in Worthington, a town just north of Ohio State’s campus. Mike Stout is an Ohio State fan who is also a football coach. When it comes time to have children, they will let their kids decide who to root for. Perhaps they’ll choose to be Michigan State fans. “We have an agreement that when it comes to baby clothes, whatever is clean will be worn,” Mike Stout told ESPN. “But once they’re old enough, they will have the right to decide on their own to be Buckeyes.” Perhaps ESPN could use the Stouts for their next “Never Graduate” commercial.
