Click here to check out all the great coverage produced by the Big Ten Network.[TWO // commissioner focuses on past, present and future]Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany addressed the assembled media on Friday at the 2015 Big Ten Football Media Days at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago by first recognizing the leadership shown by presidents, administrators, coaches and colleagues, and noting his appreciation for the collaboration shown by schools every day while still competing on the field. The 2014-15 academic year was the most successful yet for the Big Ten’s broad-based programs, including a conference single-season record of 10 team national titles and 17 teams from 11 different schools appearing in the national semifinals or finishing among the top four in national tournaments.[THREE // a lot to learn at the luncheon]One of the best moments each year at the Big Ten Football Kickoff Luncheon is the student-athlete, or in this case the student-athletes, who speak on behalf of all the players in attendance. This year Indiana’s Nate Sudfeld and Ohio State’s Joshua Perry each delivered a speech at the annual event in Chicago. Sudfeld traveled to Uganda as a 14-year-old and saw the poverty in that country.
