Finally, practice has begun for college football teams. The media days, preseason football magazines and cable network carwashes keep fans interested during June and July. But there’s nothing like the real thing with players actually going at it on the field and not on Twitter. With most teams reporting this week to begin preparation for the 2015 season, here are five things to watch for in preseason drills in August. WHO WILL OREGON’S QUARTERBACK BE? Many thought the job would default to Eastern Washington University transfer Vernon Adams Jr. The 6-foot-0, 190-pound senior-to-be, who threw for 3,483 yards and 35 touchdowns for the FCS Eagles in 2014, has been touted as the heir apparent to 2014 Heisman winner Marcus Mariota.
